I offer a full garden design service both remote and in person, working with you to ensure we create an outdoor space you can enjoy for many years to come. Your garden is an extension of your home and I want you to enjoy stepping into that outdoor room.

From low maintenance, pet friendly to free flowing cottage I can design a space that works for you.

The design process step by step

Step by step

  • Garden design process starts with a questionnaire to help you explore what you want from the garden. Once completed and returned we can start the process.
  • An initial meeting in person or via zoom to discuss requirements further
  • Contracts, terms and conditions sent signed and returned
  • A garden survey is completed taking measurements, noting aspect, soil and any existing features or if remote service is chosen you will send in measurements, pictures and all information needed to design from.
  • A mood board is produced to ensure so you can see visually the ideas I have for your garden.
  • A scale drawn concept design is produced to illustrate placement of soft and hard landscaping and the types of planting to be used. This is then agreed or amended.
  • A Master plan, once happy with the concept design a to scale master plan is produced laying out soft, hard landscaping, and  in-depth detailing on type of planting and materials to be used.
  • Planting plan is the final stage of the process and a layout plan is then produced showing placement and specifying exact plants, quantities and sizing that can be used as a shopping list or you may wish to engage my services to layout and plant for you.
